I've seen carpenters doing this with 2/4/6 small pieces of baseboard to make a transition around the corner. I'd be ok just using 1 or two pieces but I can't wrap my brain around how to figure the length of the pieces needed when doing this.
If you feel you must try to use math on this, here is the 'theoretical' dimension across the inside bottom for a 3/4 radius. But it never works out exactly right.
Most guys will slide both pieces till they get what looks good to them, and mark the floor. 5/8" to 3/4" usually comes out close. Sometimes you need 7/8".
