custome bi fold doors

I have an opening above a wet bar in my home that has a pair of bi fold doors on it. My parrot decided to chew them to pieces and now they need to be replaced. The opening is 49 1/4 " height and 36 1/2 " width. I can not seem to find anyone who sells bi fold doors this size. If anyone knows where I can find these please let me know.

perhaps stock sizes trimmed a bit?

Try a lumber yard for wood shutters. They make nice small doors and come in more sizes.

I have come across this a number of times.
36 1/2 is 1/2" wider than a standard opening for bifold doors but a filler stop could be used to take up the space.
Standard bifold doors might be easier found in a place like Habitat for Humanity or any place selling used household materials. It might be easier to find a set of standard closet bifold doors. each panel is 17 3/4" wide.
If you just use the top portion from the top rail to the bottom of the mid rail it should give a door of 48" high. A 1 1/4" addition to the top or bottom of the door should fix that.
here in Florida a used set goes for about $20.

Fixing the parrots problem is real easy. :o)
