custom door jamb

I have a solid core door 2 inch thick with a slight arch on top, some call an eyebrow design. This is a heavy door going into a 2x4 wall. How could I make a jamb with the arch on top? type of wood... etc..

Build a form and laminate 1/4" plywood to the thickness you want. You will need alot of clamps.
