Crown molding angle question

I got it!

I just use this website
http://www.sbebuilders.com/cgi-bin/g...pring_Angle=38

Plug in the angle of my crown, and use their angles. Most of my triangles require acute angles less than 50*

These angles require cuts of 55* or so on my saw, and it only goes up to 47~48

I simply made a block cut at precisely 10* and adjust the angle on the saw accordingly. E.g. if my angle is 55* I put the block down and set the saw to 45* and slice!

Whoever said "Those long cuts pull the crown" is right! Especially with my fingers so close to the saw these are dangerous cuts.

here are a few pictures. I hope I don't run out of bevel settings as that would be a huge PITA

Thanks everyone! If I run into any more problems I will post here. Please ignore the blue painters taped HVAC vent...

Crown molding angle question

Thanks mayng! :D I am really happy with how it's coming out

I am really happy with the outcome. I wish I had a ton of time and patience so I could make all the angles look perfect but I simply don't have the attributes above. School starts up again on the 5th.

All thats left is some filler for the holes, some floor trim, and some touch up paint.

I only have 4 small triangles left in the room!
