Cost to replace entry and screen doors??
 

I have a front entry door and front screen door that need replacing. Can anyone tell me what price (a rough estimate/idea) of what this might cost me? My entry door is a standard size (72x30 I believe).

I got a quote for labor only for about $800, and I thought it was high.


Any opinions would be appreciated. If it matters I live in Chicago.

Since this is a DIY site, we strongly discourage threads requesting "guesstimates" on pricing for contractors to do jobs. We can guide you on how to install the door, but price issues don't belong here.

There are waaaay too many variables that must be taken into consideration, and a carpenter's expert opinion after meeting with you and looking at the project will be much more accurate than any guess you get from people online.

I suggest getting at least three bids.

Front door, 3' 0" x 6' 8".
