Column Base Surrounds

I'm trying to build a pedistal around a column so it looks like the column is sitting on a table. I have a five foot column surround that I'd like to use but I'm not sure how to build a raised base.

Thank you for any help you might have.

Column Base Surrounds

Do a searcg of columns/capitals and look at the photos. You can also search ionic, doric, corinthian and greek columns for a variety of choices.
