Cleaning Wood Vent Hood...

dcd22 Member   Join Date: Jul 2007 Posts: 178	Cleaning Wood Vent Hood... Not sure if this is the right spot.... I have a 2 year old cherry stained vent hood above my range. Over this time, there is a greesy film that has built up on it. What can I use to clean the greese off, but not affect the finish?

Just Bill Member   Join Date: Dec 2008 Location: Wilmington, DE Posts: 3,097	Cleaning Wood Vent Hood... Depends on the finish type, but most will tolerate household cleaners. Simple Green should be OK. Don't use TSP.
