cedar siding


my minibarn has damage from a hail storm. from the roof down about 3 feet. i would like to put cedar siding on top of this instead of tearing out the wood and replacing. can anyonr tell me how to get started and if i need firringstrips or can I just nail through to 2x4 supports?

cedar siding


Welcome to the Forum.

It all depends on what kind of siding you have on there now whether or not you can just go over it.

Posting pictures here would be a good start.
