Cedar Shingles

We recently purchased a house with cedar shingles, unpainted. Some of the shingles have been replaced and therefore do not match the already weathered shingles. Is there some way to speed up the weathering or to stain the new shingles so they darken to the weather look faster? The house looks a bit ragedy to me with the two different shingles on the front of the house.

Cedar Shingles

You can use a semi-transparent gray stain to help blend the cedar shingles faster. If you really have a lot of new shingles, you might want to consider spraying the entire roof or at least the front).
Good Luck!
