Can you sand concrete?

I have a concrete walkway leading up to my house. There is a small section (maybe 1 sq. foot) where the concrete has a 1/4 inch bump that really annoys me (i think there may have been a tree near here and a root pressed it up but the tree has since been removed). Can you even sand concrete and how would you go about doing so?

Thanks!

Nick

Yes you can sand the concrete I would use a diamond cup wheel on a 4" angle grinder.

This is what you are looking for.
