Cabinet Color and Style

I am re-doing my small kitchen from top to bottom. I have newer white appliances and will keep them. I know stainless is in, but right now changing out appliances isn't an option. I'm open for suggestions as to what color/type cabinets to get. I want a sort of Tuscan feel to my kitchen.

Gee, that's probably based on an individuals taste. We have been looking at cabinets lately and it seems like lot's of decisions to make. Goodluck.

Sea foam green makes a nice look or possibly a creamy tan. You can also enhance the look of old cabinets with different hardware.

You definitely want a warm tone, such as an off white or cream. Anything goes with white appliances, so don't worry about that. Focus on what type of wood and stain you like. You could go from cherry to maple and still get the look you're after. (One way to get the look of cherry at a lower price is to buy oak cabinets with a cherry stain).

Here's a link to a good country kitchen look. Tuscan typically has more elaborate details, but it will give you ideas.

You might want to consider thermofoil. If you're looking for a white or off-white color, thermofoil is nice because it's less likely to chip compared to a door painted white.
