Question

building a home bar out of an antique dresser

I have an antique dresser that I would like to use as a home bar. I do not want to destroy the dresser; I would like to add a top and possibly a platform to make it a little taller. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Pictures are helpful

You could add a top that has 2 layers, so there would be a shelf, basically a box. The bottom covered with felt or that sticky rubber mat stuff would sit on the dresser, edges on it so it not fall off, the top would be your bar counter.
