Beadboard over cabinet body

The cheap wax paper veneer on my cabinets is starting to peel on the bottom edges. I am thinking maybe cover the cabinets with beadboard. I would leave the doors original. One problem is where the body meets the front of the cabinet how would I trim the beadboard to the front of the cabinet. I could rip the beadboard at a 45 degree but not sure that would look good. I could not really use an angled corner because it would not look good. Anyone every do this?

Got a picture?
Sure sounds like you have some super cheap cabinets there.
How do you plan on sticking anything to it?
