Can you just use liquid nails to put up bead board? It is the 4/8 sheets and I will only be useing about 30 inch high pieces. Thanks in advance.

yes you can, but I would set some trim nails into all the studs the sheet covers. and try to have the laps of the sheets land over the studs as to keep the seems tight , the base and the cap will keep the sheet tight against the wall between the stud spacing. bob

It depends on how flat the walls and the bead board are. I did this in the entry hallway in my house and used liquid nails and can tell you that the wall was not straight and the sheets were not flat. The glue would not have made proper contact with the wall without the help of some finishing nails into the studs. I'm guessing that by now, however, the liquid nails is holding the bead board up just fine.
