Basement framing

When framing a basement what should I install in the corners so I have somewhere to screw the drywall to?

Basement framing

several methods can be used.. you can can install a L-stud using a 2x6 which will catch the joining g wall and create backing on the opposite side of teh wall
. another method is to use up scraps and block between the studs where the joining wall meets.. putting blockin at 0' 2', 4' 6' 8' ,

or frame the wall the way its done for steel stud, frame the first wall sheet it, then build the next wall . this method is more designed for achieving proper fire ratings for commercial construction but still holds the wall
