Kitchen sink is obviously too large and almost impossible to keep the area dry between the sink and the back splash. No room to caulk and the drywall and back splash are now warped. I plan on cutting and replacing the bad part of the wall and then install a thinner back splash. One that would allow easier assess to the back splash base.
Is a 1/4 inch thick back splash acceptable material or is my wife going to just have to settle for a smaller sink. I thought of using tile but that will require an enormous area to be tiled to make things blend.
