attic ladder


hi, i have a werner w2110 attic ladder- for 105'-124" ceilings. can i cut down to fit 89" ceiling?

105 feet?! Now thats a Ladder! Sure i would think you can cut it down, as long as you can re-install the ends, and as long as you can cut it exactly even. Look at it close and make sure you consider everything.

Post #1 has an apparent typo.
I believe that he has a Werner Attic Ladder
that is built for ceiling heights from 10'5" to 12'
and he wants to cut it down for a lower ceiling height

attic ladder


Just be aware that the last step might be only a few inches off the floor. No big deal, but it throws some people off when they decend to the bottom of the ladder and are almost at the floor. If you remove that offending step, then you end up with an extra long reach at the bottom for the first step. Again, just something to keep in mind.
