aluminum for windows

Is it possible to accurately bend aluminum without the use of a brake? I need to make covers for the outside of a window approximately 4 inches wide, 1 inch deep by 3 feet long.

Get (3) 2 x 4 that are 3 feet long.

Clamp your work between two of the 2 x 4's inside a vise.

Use the last 2 x 4 and hit it with a mallet to get the metal to bend off to form the angle.
