Adjustable Cabinet Shelf

I have a TV armoire/cabinet with an adjustable shelf. I want to place a center channel speaker on the shelf (approx 26 lbs) and am concerned about the shelf drooping. What is an effective way of reinforcing the shelf that will not detract from the appearance of the furniture?

Adjustable Cabinet Shelf

What makes you think the shelf and/or the support system won't hold up the shelf?
Post a picture of what you have. Hard to advise without seeing it.
I don't know if this will work on the looks side, but screwing an aluminum angle around 3 sides will hold it up. Just color the metal to match the interior of the cabinet.
