60 grit for Orbit Sander
Why does Home Depot not sell the 60 grit for the Orbit Sander? I've been at it for 6-8 hours with the 80 because the scuffs from the 40 won't come up all the way. Anybody know what's up with that? Is it me, or is this goofy?!
thanks!

What are you working on that requires such nasty paper?
Call around---look on the net---Depot isn't the only place to buy paper.

60 grit for Orbit Sander
I feel your frustration. As a renovator that is my favorite grit for cutting down the roughness on many old painted surfaces. They also don't stock all of the grits in contractor packs, just the little 5 disk packs. For the big boxes, it's all about marketing. Some decisions are based on how cheaply they can buy a particular item, so they may stock odd ball sizes or quantities because the supplier gives them a great price on what is traditionally a slow moving item. Other items are stocked, or not, strictly on how many gazillion of them are either sold or just sit collecting dust each month on the store shelf.
