22 1/2 degree outside corner


Iam a first timer here and found this site while looking for some help on framing a wall....I would like to know how to fill in the gap between studs when forming a outside 22 1/2 degree corner. I have serveral to do and not sure how??

22 1/2 degree outside corner


It would be best to rip the angle on the studs on a table saw with the blade tilted. It can be a dangerous cut to make on the tablesaw, but even more so with the circular saw.

22 1/2 degree outside corner


Yup rip down your 2 x lumbar on the table saw with the correct setting. Its all in the math

Heres a 45 corner with 2x4 construction to show the rip will look
