2 cylinder deadbolt uninstall

micah106 Newbie   Join Date: Feb 2013 Posts: 1	2 cylinder deadbolt uninstall I have a Schlage double cylinder deadbolt that I would like to uninstall. I cannot figure out how to get it off. I have removed the face =plate but there is no hidden screws behind that. Ideas? I am not trying to drill it out and know it is something simplethat I am just missing. Thanks for your help...

carpdad Member   Join Date: Oct 2010 Posts: 173	2 cylinder deadbolt uninstall You may see a smallish round cap that is pressure fitted. Removing it reveals a bolt head. Another type reveals the bolt when you turn the cylinder with a key.
