VGA outlet wiring

i was gonna have a VGA outlets next to my projector on the ceiling and one on the wall for the computer to plug in. i was wondering if it is better to buy a pre-made cable with male plugs on both ends and use adapters to convert them to the females that are in the wall (and have it behind the wall with naturally some slack because they come in conventional sizes) or should i cut to measure and somehow connect my own females, kind of like Cat5 female outlets are done with 8 little wires or the phone ?

If you know the exact length, you can have a premade cable made up. If wanting to terminate your own, there are solutions out there, and Parts Express has them.
