Data Hub distance from electrical breaker box

I want to install a data hub in the basement to handle cable, internet, and telephone. I planning structured cable and home runs from this point to all connection points (bedrooms, living room, kitchen, etc). How much distance, if any, between the data hub and breaker box do I need?

I tear things down and build them up.

You should be ok with at least a foot. The important factor is to not run cat5 along power lines if at all possible.
