bluetooth is cramping my day

Not sure where to post this, so here seemed a good choice.

The built in bluetooth in my auto decided to terminate itself. When I attempt to pair it again it reads connection accepted, but its not in sync.

I can't even revert it to handheld if I'm within a certain distance of the car without going into options and totally terminating the connection.

I can still make/receive calls if I'm the typical distance away

I followed the vehicle's manual, but am getting nowhere.

Does anybody else have the same difficulty ?

I know nothing about bluetooth but the make and model of the vehicle might help in getting an answer.

Vehicle bluetooth is not set up to use it unless you are inside the vehicle. I do not know of any that you can get 30 feet away and still use. It is more for handsfree while inside the vehicle. BTW, what are you trying to accomplish, with wanting to use the BT in the vehicle?

I'm not trying to use the bluetooth 30ft away. I'm saying a call no longer comes over the vehicles audio system. Even if I try to revert back to the handheld device I can't take/make a call unless I either terminate connection entirely or walk 30 ft away. Not very convenient when traveling at 100k on the highway.
The system is built in and not a clip on visor unit

I would be contacting the manufacturer of the vehicle, if you are having problems pairing with it. Also, some phones just do not play nice, when it comes to BT.

FYI all is well. It turns out that my blackberry needed a software update. A simple fix. I think I need a Galaxy S Nexus update. Goodbye blackberry

Thanks for trying to help Joe and Greg
