Snow Blower Doesn't Start


Hi,
I'm having an Yard Machine MTD snow blower unfortunately it doesn't start...
I tried removing spark plug and put some starting fluid it starts for couple secs
and doesn't continue

can someone please help..

Ayuh,.... Sure sounds like the carb, or fuel lines are plugged up, seein's it starts briefly on ether,...

If it was runnin', 'n put away, Without drainin' the carb,...
I'd start with rebuildin' the carb,...

Remove carburetor, disassemble, and clean with carburetor cleaner.
Better yet while it's apart install a rebuilt kit.

Snow Blower Doesn't Start


be careful with that ether, too much and you can punch a hole in the cylinder wall or piston. it should start with gasoline in the cylinder and might run a few seconds longer, but it definitely sounds like a carb problem. was It put away properly after the season? make sure you don't have any water in the gas tank or fuel bowl.
