Lawn mowers and JP8

So at work there were 3 lawn mowers. I say were as someone put JP8 in the lawn care gas cans instead of regular gas. Said fuel was used and now we have 3 dead mowers.

Anyway to salvage/repair the mowers?

It's nothing but fancy kerosene so I'd figure it just will not burn in a gas engine so it stopped.
Should be able to just rebuild the carbs, clean out the fuel tank and change the plug.

And find a better place to store the JP in a differant colored can then the red gas can.

Easier said than done with a military motorpool. Whoever filled the red gas cans did it from the regular jerry cans that get filled at the fuel point thus. Same lazy person who didn't want to take the 5 gal red can to the fuel point to begin with.

Lawn mowers don't run on diesel fuel - even the fancy stuff.

I'd try completely cleaning the fuel systems, put in fresh gas, and see what happens. I suspect you'll be fine.
