Feather lite weedeater trimmer wont start after changing fuel line!

I was using my feather lite weed eater trimmer today when it kept stalling. I noticed the fuel line was falling apart and the fuel line filter had fallen off. I replace the fuel line and now it will not start at all! It almost seems like the fuel is not coming through the line but I see fuel coming out of the return line so there must be. I sprayed carb cleaner and it fires up but will not stay running! Could it just be flooded???

Ok I got it running but it will not stay running. It will run for 30 seconds or so but eventually stalls out.

It's really tough to diagnose any of these weed wacker problems.

Almost all of the "it's not running" problems with these weed wackers are fuel-related. Rarely is it the spark. A tiny speck of dust or grass can clog a fuel jet or idle jet. A cracked fuel line or primer bubble can let air in, and keep it from running. There could be some crud in the fuel tank.

About all you can do is keep trying to run down the fuel problem. Check your primer bubble - they're notorious for leaking a little air. Also, it might be something as simple as your gas being too heavily mixed with oil. You'd be surprised how much trouble that can cause.

Good luck!
