Echo SRM 225`

I noticed it spits out fuel from the muffler area when I pull the string to start it. The muffler area is also very wet with fuel. At times, I've seen fuel like fluid in and near the air filter. Any speculations on why the fuel is spitting out from the muffler or why it's sometimes preset near the air filter?

The float in the carburetor is stuck.
Often times with a small carb. like that it's just as easy to just replace it instead of trying to rebuild and clean it.
