Fuel problem.
Remove the carburetor, disassemble the whole thing and clean out with carburetor cleaner.
If you want to completely rebuild it your going to need the model # and ser. number off the motor not the blower.

For less chance of this happening again once it's fixed use nonethanol fuel or at least use an additive to counter acts the effects of it.
Add some Sea Foam to the fuel.
Never leave gas in it at the end of the year.
Never ever use old fuel!

i just bought this snowblower:
i took the jet off under the float bowl, the smallest hole on the jet was clogged i cleaned it with carb cleaner and poked it with a needle. but when i went to put the bowl back on it doesnt hold the fuel, it starts to leak out.... does it matter which way the bowl goes cause i noticed one side of the bowl is deeper than the other?

also whats this wire hanging seems an old feature to start?
also where do i find the model of the motor?

Many times, you can go to the hardware store and replace the gasket with an o-ring.. Doesn't always work though..

When you get it running, pour about 5 times the recommended concentration of carb cleaner in with the gasoline.. also make sure to add STA-BIL.. let run for 15 minutes and store for a couple weeks..

Then start it back up, let run for 15 more minutes and then shut off fuel supply and let it run the carb bowl out of fuel for storage..

You should be good to go for winter when it comes.

I guess a disrupted the gasket on the bowl since it leaks now...
So does it matter does the shallow part of the bowl have to be on hinge side of the Float??

Usually the shallow part of the bowl must be on the hinge side to let the float drop.

Huh? Half the gasket is missing in the picture of the bowl. You do see that right? That gasket is usually a hard fiber type gasket.
