wood framed brick insulated fire pit

I am wanting to build a fire pit on my wooden deck, this doesn't sound smart but I think its doable but I would like some back up. I have a wooden uncovered deck and I want to build a fire pit out of bricks on it then build wooden walls for it so that it will match the rest of the deck but I m unsure if its safe to do it and if it would ruin the pressure treated wood that it will be sitting on. How many layers of brick do y'all think it would take in order for me not to ruin any wood.

Thanks in advance.
