Under-slab or In-slab plumbing?

So, I'm building this stupid fish pond and I'm working on the drains that carry fish waste out of the pond and send it over to the Filter House.

They look something like this:

The problem is, when I was excavating for the slab, I had so much rock and changing Depth of Excavation Elevations that I ended up with a flat building pad instead of a flat building pad with a trench for the plumbing.

So now, I have three options.

1) Just pour the slab full thickness which will encase the plumbing runs in concrete

2) Pour a mud slab, with forms around the plumbing, to re-create a building pad with trench for plumbing

3) Back fill to building pad height with compacted gravel and sand around the plumbing runs

Opinions?

Under-slab or In-slab plumbing?

May have just answered my own question.

Option 4: Pile sand over and around plumbing runs just prior to pouring slab. Creating an "inverted trench" I would still have 5" of slab depth even over the plumbing runs.
