I'm getting ready to install some laminate wood in a room that will also go around a bar type structure that is covered with cultured stone. My issue is that the laminate is about an 1/8" to thick to go under the bottom of the cultured stone. I'm looking for some advice on possibly trimming the bottom of the stone so that the laminate will fit under it. If this is possible, is their a certain tool that you would suggest? I've attached a photo. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Got an ossilating saw?
I would try flipping a piece of flooring over to use as a guide and try my ossilating saw with the diamond blade. If that failed I'd be using my 4-1/2" right angle with a diamond blade.
