Stamped Concrete Patio

Hi all,

So I have a pad under my deck walkout basement and it's a stamped but the problem is that it's stamped crooked, I know it's crooked.

How can I fix this without having to rip it out and pour a new one?
Concrete re-surfing
  • Are they any good?
  • How long do they last?
  • I live in extreme temp fluctuation (Calgary AB Canada)
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Stamped Concrete Patio

you have 4 choices: 1, close 1 eye when traversing your crooked patio; 2, rip it out & redo it; 4, go the other way so you don't have to see it, or 4, never look at your patio again

its POSSIBLE to resurf(ace) it but, im-n-s-h-fo, its not diy work as even many pro's would turn down a resurface & thin-stamp bonded overlay such as your project,,, the cost would be significant compared to that of rip out & replace

to answer your other questions: 1. yes, they ARE good; 2, as long as the conc to which its bonded lasts; & 3, a good hybrid-polymer just-add-water resurfacing concrete mix is more flexible; 4, has better abrasion resistance; 5. has a higher compressive strength that what's there now; & 6, performs well in extreme temp swing areas ( btw, yours isn't 1 )
