cbaur88 Member Join Date: Jan 2011 Location: South Jersey Posts: 142	Slate Fireplace/ThinSet? Hi folks, my appologies if this isn't the correct topic thread. We are putting in a gas fireplaces this fall. Around it we will be adding slate. My question is what kinda of thinset should I use? I know slate is very heavy and needs to be properly installed when hanging. So is there a specific type I should be using for putting slate up around a fireplace? Thanks in advance for your help and time!
