sill sealer - face up or down?

I'm installing a sill sealer between a bottom plate (framing) and concrete floor. I just noticed the sill sealer has ridges on one side and flat on the other. Should the ridges face up (towards the bottom plate) or down (towards the concrete floor)?

Apparently ridges/corrugated side down facing the concrete floor is correct. It better fills the gaps that presents itself and accommodates the imperfections of a concrete floor.
