Reposition iron gate post

My one year old iron gate is sagging. It is a remote control gate and runs across the driveway. The driveway slopes up and that is part of the problem, gate fits fine when closed but jams up on the driveway when open. The main problem is the post, it is leaning back a few inches where it must have been more vertical when first installed.

I dug some around it and though the post is just inches from the driveway and the fence, it seems to me I can do some digging and reposition it. Looking for some tips for getting the gate working again.

Thanks in advance

Puttster

Edit: I will post this to the construction forum also, in case it is a construction issue.
