replacing one side walk block


You would use that in place of the 1/2" x 4" fibrous expansion material ? How would apply this?

Yes, it's used in place of semi-rigid "felt".

It's alot harder to attach and keep straight, but you may need to either pre-bend the corners and hold it in place as you pour, or try drilling into the existing surrounding concrete and attaching it. It's a bigger PITA to deal with, no doubt, but it's far easier to seal......
