Hi there,

I've got to repair some stucco on my exterior block wall. First, I need to determine what the finish is actually called. I believe it's called heavy lace or sometimes they call it arizona texture. Although some of the pictures of a heavier skip trowel also resemble it as well. I have a picture of the wall here with my car keys for perspective. Can someone tell me what it is, how it was done professionally and how I would recreate it? I have a bit of knowledge on stucco and have the tools. I can even rent if needed. Im curious what type of stucco I would need as well. I know there's different mixes of aggregate in them....

Thanks for any advice...Chris

Thanks. I have to agree the hyperlink is hard to see....

So, in your opinion, what is the finish actually called. Is it a skip trowel? Also, is there a specific type of stucco to be used for the different coats? I know there's typically three coats but I wasn't sure if the finish/texture coat would have more aggregate maybe?
