Refilling trench with uneven floor

Hello. We have finished trenching our basement floor and done our new plumbing. The area needs to be refilled with concrete. My issue is that the floor around the trenches is not level because of an old drain we removed. Should I fill in the trenches area with concrete, then clean the whole surface and add a self leveling layer of concrete over the whole thing ?

I appreciate the help.
