Putting ledgestone around a fireplace

We have just picked out ledgestone to go around our existing fireplace. The gas fireplace is flush with the drywall. So, when the ledgestone is installed, the edge of the ledgestone (which is white) will show all around the fireplace. We are in a real quandary what to do about this? The fireplace can do be pulled out-it is hooked to the chimney.

Putting ledgestone around a fireplace

You can look into tile edging trim/transitions and border edging.

Gaps can be filled with a color matched (To the stone's surface face color) - sanded caulk, grout, or standard caulking.
