Options to repair spalling bricks

I bought a house that had 2 Walls out of 4 with grade above brick Line. i also had a patio with pavers that was sealed with tar, no membrane. the sills in the back of the patio are also partially rotten. 3 rows of brick are now dammaged all around.

got a whooping estimate to repalce the bricks all around, including behind the patio. high cost was justified by usage of many anchors to hold the bricks above...

could i just parge over the bottom rows or pour reinforced concrete over? (i would keep the weep hole open somehow).

ps: i took care last year to drop the ground level last year to clear the top 3-4 inches of foundation.

thanks for your advices,

pp

SOunds like you have an issue that needs to be addressed on site.

Good Luck

theres definitely water damage going on there. and by the sounds of it it not good. this needs to be addressed before it gets even worse and theres no quick cheap fix for it. you have to solve the issue of how the water is getting in first then repair the brick

the source of dammage was the high ground level and water in spring time i guess (i'm in canada). i've lowered the ground level since then. now i have to fix it. can i parge over my last 3 rows of bricks? i will then block my weep holes.... which i think is not a good thing.

any ideas?
