Ok to fill this block with Great Stuff?

I have a crawl space from an addition on my home and on the original block there are some gaps and holes which I would like to fill with Great Stuff.

Is there anything wrong with doing this or is it a good idea for rodents, insects, insulating?

If any of that is exposed to direct sunlight, you will be wasting your time and money.

And rodents will probably try to tear through it too.

None of it is exposed, it was before the addition on the house. I could put some steel wool in there as well.

Is this area leaking air through, from warm to cold?

Steel wool mixed into the foam, will definitely stop the rodentia.

I think that I would mix up some mortar and try to fill those myself, but I don't know how much trouble it will be to get the bucket over to those areas.

Ayuh,.... I'm with Ed, if yer tryin' to stop critters, I'd go with mortar or grout,....

I'd "Think" mixin' steel wool with the foam would defeat the purpose of both components,...

You can use the foam to create a "backstop" for the grout if you want, but I would fill them with mortar if it were me.
