Noises from wall

i hear loud cracking noises from my ist story house ,usually it happens when its cold outside as temperature warms up the noises disappear.second i saw a little bit of staircase crack in outisde brick wall which i repaiered once but it again appered but almost hairline( also i see a meatl piece inside too may be its the tie) .this crack is though away from the noise generating corner .i will post pictures too to get a better understanding of what is happening from u guys. any help how to proceed further is appreciated

Stair case cracks are most often caused from the footing settling, and I've never heard them cause any sort of noise.

Is there trusses or site built rafters in the attic?

thanks can u explain what thses means. trusses . outside i see no crack in foundation
