MAYDAY - smoother bailed on me

Two days before a scheduled pour the guy who was supposed to do the smoothing bailed on me. The pour involves mostly ICF blocks but also stairs and sidewalk for which I needed the smoother. Is smoothing something I can do myself or is it a really bad idea to try?

There called finishers not smoothers.
Most concrete companys have a list of reguler customers that can do the job.
Cancel the delivery until you find one and come to terms.
