How to remove mold/mildew from brick

Moved into a house where on the north side there is some mold/mildew that grew on the siding as I guess also on the brick. I know how to wash the siding but how do I wash the brick? I just want it to not be green/mildew-ey, but I want to be safe.

Thanks

How to remove mold/mildew from brick

Hot soapy water with some bleach---bleach will kill the moss and any mildew---might take a couple of tries--

Use a scrub brush--

Don't be tempted to use a power washer---The mortar could get blasted loose---Mike---

I use the outdoor Clorox in a pump sprayer, let it sit 1/2 hour then pressure wash it. Just do not get up close and use a fan spray nozzle not a fine point.
Keep it moving, do not stay in one spot.
