How to parge and waterproof exterior wall

Hello everyone - just had some foundation work done and the mason said I needed to get the wall parged and waterproofed. Was wondering how hard it is to do it myself and what materials I need. The foundation was repaired from the footing to the sill about 15'

Thanks!

There is a concrete waterproofing paint called DRYLOCK. A few coats of this on top of a nice 1/2 parge should do the trick.
