Help me identify this foundation problem

Just to give you a backdrop; I live in a 1012sq ft house. It is on a crawlspace cinder blocks. 1982.

Of course hairline vertical crackers are around the house; we have quite a few actually. I covered most with construction adhesive. No Horizontal crackers.

We live in sort of a flood plain and the soil is mixed with clay. So expansive clay is bad for the foundation I know.

Anyways one day after clearing bushes from the side of my house, I noticed this long curvy horizonal line going on the side of my house.

It would almost like like a deer took his antlers and made it. My wife says she hears scratching noise on that side of the house sometimes in the mornings. I am a little worried and hope this isn't some big horizonal crack forming in its early stages.

Deers antlers wouldn't do that in most cases. You would also see some marking on it.

Could have been an excavator during construction and site clean up.

I was going to say looks like a line of spalling do to water inside the block but I don't really see any water signs.

My next guess is a scrape by the excavator/skid steer during back filling or landscaping.

Maybe it's from a riding lawnmower running against it?

Or maybe from a Chupacabra????
