Have a few questions: flashing windows and doors and brick ledge

Rather than start another thread in "Insulation", I'll start answering here. Others will chime in anytime on either subject. Basics on vapor barrier/retarder not required in Zone 3: http://www.buildingscience.com/docum...commendations/

P.S. Some of the links are redundant but add a little bit differently. You wanted an "education", LOL.

Gary

Thank you for posting the links.

I have seen a few of the links, but several of them were new sources of information for me.

This information will help me make sure these assemblies are correct before the brick veneer is applied.

Take care
