dried concrete walkway

I poured a concrete walkway and since it has dried, it is rough and you can't walk on it without shoes. It has bricks in it so I can't resurface it. Any suggesions?

You say you have bricks in it. I am having a hard time understanding what you are referring to . Do you mean you have clay bricks embedded in the walkway? Or concrete bricks embedded in the walkway? Or something else entirely? If you post pictures and accurately, thoroughly and carefully describe how you built the walkway, perhaps we can help you fix it.
